Lots of stories of people trying to escape communist Germany… can’t think of many stories of people from the West willingly defecting to the communist East?

Funny how there are so many edgel0rds on Lemmy endlessly pushing communism-this and communism-that. I know most of these guys are probably 14 year olds trying to act cool and all, but too bad they weren’t alive when events shown in the photo were occurring.
