I think the admins are trying to take a hands off approach to this overall to allow individual communities to establish the spaces they want. However i just wanted you to know that from the admins ive talked to we do really appreciate content creators and will keep an eye on it. and there have been comments in this post stating “we should ban all only fans creators” which i atleast wouldnt consider, and i havent heard any on the admin team seriously consider it.

If we see alot of communities start banning content creators overall (not just banning advertising, but full on banning posts from people with a paid platform in their bio/etc) we will revisit it, and try to make sure the space is as creator friendly as possible, however to a certain degree i wonder if it will naturally sort itself out as without content creators they arent exactly going to have content to grow yknow ?

Are there coms that are bothering you currently ? (cant promise things will change, but its good for us to pay attention to)

I think the reason I thought you were mass reporting is becouse you reported every character in a school girl outfit you see. So I spend the time researching and verifying their age, then come back to another report that I have to dig through and verify and most the time they have been legal, or ocs without a defined age ik which they are clearly drawn above age.

Tldr I hit a bunch of false positives so I got a not great impression. I still responded to each of your reports, you just weren’t happy with alot of them.

I have been dealing with nonstop reports of non consent. As aparantly unless someone is actively holding a sign saying “I consented to this” signed and dated prior to the interaction it’s now rape.

For example this post has been reported for rape:https://lemmynsfw.com/post/101797

And a post continues to be reported for rape becouse “(in the anime) the character depicted would never have consented to this, therefore it’s rape”

The default position that everything is rape, unless explicitly stated makes running many types of communities impossible.

This is made worse as other people have pointed out (including me) that 62 percent of women seek out CNC content (including my wife).

I also still struggle with the canonical age limits… link and zelda are only above 18 in one game so I have been consistently responding to reports from the lost woods community sending links to game wikis showing that they are above age. It is also weird to me that 90 percent of anime characters are considered loli regardless of how they are drawn, and that I have to argue that characters like rem are from later seasons as otherwise they would also be banned.

Edit: one other note, some users have also informed me “a school uniform means that it’s loli” due to their understanding of the rules

Nope I was wrong I don’t think you double clicked. So a I tried transferring it back, it doesn’t seem to be taking. It’s showing up in modlog that it’s being transfered but I never lose the perms.

So I started scrolling through main to see if there was an issue and it looks like your not the only one affected, mod ranks seem scrambled for some reason they think it’s the v 18 update. Hopefully it will sort out soon:/

For now I assure you I’ll stay off the comunity, and once it is resolved I’ll make sure it gets transfered back asap.

Ah that is a good question, I just logged in to leave the mod team on that sub, but the button was missing for just that sub. did you transfer ownership to it? could you put a comment on one of the posts in there (i can use that comment to transfer ownership back, then ill leave the mod team on the sub)

Yup! you can remove it from the position, right now there arent really any settings to speak of it just goes through all image posts and adds a comment with any info it can gather from SauceNao.

If you want it to continue working on the community, but dont want it in a mod position, just remove it then send it a message with the content: starwarsnsfw:enable

I’m responding to weather there is a risk of reddit sueing not the individual creator creating a take down request.

If an individual creator got a bee in their bonnet and decided they were OK having their posts on one forum but not the other they could request it be taken down, but reddit themselves couldn’t. I think overall since we are pulling from a free non gated site that’s a minimal issue, as people like only fans creators are using this explicitly to show people free content to get them to go to their paid content. It would be like them getting mad you reposted or shared their original post

from a legal standpoint I can’t see how there is, reddit doesn’t own any of the content it serves. it’s terms of service do require they give the right for them to display it, but not ownership of the content
