2·9 days agoDepends which d&d alignment you’re shooting for but I think empathy is necessary for ethics and moral reasoning. Reciprocity is a good moderator to prevent being a door mat, treat people how they treat you.

They don’t like remote work because they gambled on expensive office parks and have to worry about written or audio recordings when they try to coerce working staff, if this change can be forced they need a better union

I switched from using paper notebooks to take lecture notes to using a computer for most classes around 2nd year of college and it was about the same. I mostly used the notes for spaced repetition when going over the material again a week or so after the lecture and helped keep my focus on the material during the lectures. It’s also easier to share notes with a study group if they’re already digital.
Not surprising considering the commonalities between cult leaders and fascist dictators. “Us” in group vs scapegoat “them” out group degenerates of the week, calling themselves family to distance from biological families and social support, hierarchy with an unquestionable leader on top, love me or suffer my wrath, etc. Even the way they talk from the pulpit or podium, no justification for any claims, just vibes and biases exploiting.
We need to pay scientists to do peer review and reproduction studies, it’s negligent for any organization to fund novel research only and not also contribute to error correction and resilience when LLMs are now available. If you can’t pay for it at least release the data for reproducing the analysis. To do neither should be seen as incomplete and suspicious.
