Promising healthcare, housing, a UBI, a union job, and taxes on those who could afford it to pay for it all wasn’t winning a certain class of people over. When honey doesn’t work, you get vinegar instead.

So it seems Democrats made a mistake in how they marketed their product. Do you think they have learned from their recent failure?

They’re licking their wounds and having their heads spun by a new brutalist, machete-instead-of-scalpel type of politics that nobody was ready for. A new democrat party that I can get behind will probably only have one person from “the old guard”: Bernie Sanders. And he’s not perfect either, I wish he supported nuclear energy. Truth is, if we have another election, I hope there are zero hold overs on both sides of the aisle and we start from an entirely different place.

Make no mistake, I think you have been a dick to me. Non-stop dick, by the way.

But I like Bernie Sanders and would have voted for him. We’re not as different as you think.

I AM glad the democrats, and especially Lemmy, got their ass handed to them. I AM loving the destruction because I think it all need to be burnt down and start from scratch. Because you all fucking deserved it.

And that includes you. Go back over some of the dick things you have said to me and about me the last few weeks.

But hey, I’d ride the Bernie Train. And the democrats totally fucked him over just to put Hillary on the ticket and they have ignored him since then. I wish he’d go third party and kick everyones ass.

I have no regrets. Being a dick will continue as long as you or anybody else cheer for unconstitutional assholes hollowing out our country for profit and lying to our faces that it’s a good thing. My health insurance expenses have increased 1700% directly from a single Republican vote to uncap the cost of insulin from $35, now it’s just over $600 for the same drug that costs a few dollars per bottle to make. But for my wife I would do anything.

Which is why I will always cheer for them. Because people like you need to realize that your holier-than-thou attitudes need to come down a few notches.

That sounds like you want revenge more than a healthy America.

Celebrating other Americans’ suffering isn’t patriotism, it’s spite. I brought up real consequences. That’s not about “attitudes” or “holier-than-thou”, it’s about survival. If you’re cheering for fellow citizens to struggle because you dislike their politics, maybe ask yourself what values you’re actually defending. I’d rather focus on solutions that help all Americans than watch anyone “get what they deserve.”
