I agree that you shouldn’t go pirating small indie titles because independent artists becoming more financially successful is the object of the exercise. But a triple-A title is free game to me.

The only games I’ve ever pirated are the ones that have denuvo DRM ironically, lol.

Games are cheap to buy if they are good and worthwhile.

It’s when the studios try and bait and switch us that I have a problem, or purposefully slow down and punish paying customers because they are disabled by the fear of a few pirates by adding worthless DRM.

I am certain there is not a single Denuvo game that the DRM actually caused them to make more money than simply launching without it…

People in the industry are being taken for a ride…

A triple-A game is only available and free to you because people like me pay for it.

If everyone acted like you, the AAA game industry wouldn’t exist.

I’m not trying to be disparaging, but no pirate should be proud of their theft.

Yeah and I want that to happen quite frankly. The triple a scene needs a major disruption.

That said I don’t trust a privileged executable from the high seas.

With the way they treat their workers? Good. I’m not talking about the quality of their work, I’m talking about the treatment of their labor.

      • Please do discontinue paying for AAA games. They are not only riddled with dark patterns antagonistic to their end users, but are made on the abuse and crunch of development teams overworked and underpaid.

We can only hope the AAA industry perishes and is suceeded by indie games or even FOSS game efforts.

If you must play them, pirate them with all the rant and roar you can, but better still, find better (if lower budgeted games) on the indie market. There are some pretty amazing titles that will scratch all your itches.
