          Sorry yes, I meant generated in the UK, as in not imported.

          They don’t count micro generation in the stats. Sheffield Solar say they have data from 1600 solar generators.

          I would imagine there’s a significant amount of home generation from rooftop solar, but this would show up as a decrease in grid demand, rather than an increase in green supply. Grid demand was 36.5 GW in 2012, but only 30.1 in 2022. I guess part of that drop is due to uncounted microgeneration offsetting some demand.

      Not residential solar, no. In fact, we don’t have proper data for how much is generated by residential as it just appears as a reduction in demand.

      So just read the figures on the web as “…after residential solar”.

    Yet we’re still pegged to the coal/oil prices. I hope that’s one of the first things Labour change when they get back in power.
