I did this to a Corvette owner last week, except that I parked fully in one space. Holy shit was he mad. And he couldn’t even admit that was he was doing was shitty and disrespectful to everyone else around him; he just kept saying that he paid a lot of money for his car and didn’t want it getting scratched. He was too overweight to get in the passenger side and crawl into the driver’s seat, so he had some other dude do it for him. If he’d just admitted to being in the wrong and agreed to not do it again, I would have moved; I even told him that. But his ego wouldn’t allow for it.

I’m probably going to get shot by one of these douchebags one day. I should probably remember to carry more often.

The problem with these shenanigans is that they’ll key your car or slash your tires if they’re able to get out before you get back to the car. I always take a picture of someone’s license plate if they’re parked like assholes and I have to park close to them, since they’re assholes, and prone to asshole behavior. But knowing how cops operate, I could have a video of the guy keying my car, and have the dude in handcuffs in the police station, and the cops would be all “sorry, we’re powerless to help you”.

A Corvette owner wouldn’t dare do that, so yeah. My only critique is that the Jeep isn’t close enough to fully block the driver’s side door.

Corvettes have really long doors that need a solid 3 feet of space minimum to be able to just barely squeeze in. That jeep looks plenty close to block the Corvette owner from getting in

I mean it is part of a sidewalk to the entrance of the hotel or whatever that is. Any ground sceded is another loss for pedestrian safety.
