That Prince removed two if his ribs so he could fellate himself.

Also my friends friend was playing a ouija board with people and the glass was moving. He was skeptical so asked it to say his older brothers name and it spelled the wrong name. He told his mum and she burst into tears and said he had an older brother who died as a baby.

Yeah, that was the one that came to my mind when I read the question.

Oh a side note, I find it interesting how these things spread so wide pre Internet. I’m assuming we live on different continents (I’m in Europe).

Hah. I had someone at my old job sent a warning email about that. Or they claimed a gang member would be broken down on the side of the road and then shoot you when you stopped to help. Same email. I think people are paranoid.

Kentucky Fried Chicken had to change their name to KFC because the meat is lab grown and doesn’t come from chickens anymore.

Hey, as long as they used chicken cells with the same (or better) nutritional and flavour profiles, I wouldn’t have a problem with them calling it chicken. I’d probably buy it more often if the chickens didn’t have to die each time.

IIRC, they experimented a bit a few years ago but haven’t had a widespread rollout as far as I know.

This, but the chickens have some supernumerary number of legs and wings, which legally makes them not chickens.

Also, the fruit in McDonald’s apple pies isn’t apples but chayote stewed in apple sauce, because that’s cheaper and has much the same texture.

That chinese strawberries have needles in them so children would eat them and they will puncture their stomachs, because reasons, even though they were turkish strawberries. Also heard similar one but with razors and different food.

That Chicken McNuggets were made of pink slime, including feet, guts, eyeballs, and beaks.

It got so bad the company had to do PR damage control and hire Grant from Mythbusters to go visit Tyson Foods and report back.

Random story time: I stated this urban legend as a fact to a classmate in 2007. He called me out and demanded proof. So I sat down at home (this was before smartphones were common, back in the old) and went to YouTube, to find a video about it. Obviously I never found it, but I did come across videos of rabbits beeing slaughtered in a Mexican food fabric. The person doing it was taking them out of a cage and slaughtered them right in front of the others, so that all the other rabbits could see what was coming. Started a process in my that lewd me to become a vegetarian and eventually a vegan, which I have been for over 10 years now.

“They’re putting litterboxes in the classrooms for the furry kids. My cousin’s rooommates’s mom works at XYZ school and she said they’re really doing that.” I’ve heard it from 3 different people.

At no point during this Rogan Experience fever dream wherein a child in a fursuit poops in a sand box in class did any of these people stop to think that maybe they are just gullible.

I had a 10-15 min conversation with someone at work that thought this. He was mad about it too. After I explained a few points, like if there was a litterbox in school that people are shitting in then there would be pics. Smart phones are everywhere and you don’t think a kid would have uploaded a pic before the end of the class period. He finally saw the logic, but said maybe someone brought it in as a joke. Like kids joking a furry in class or something. That assumption is a big difference than claiming schools let kids shit on litterboxes because they identify as cats.

Either way, I want proof before I believe in such a ridiculous claim.

I definitely believe there could be bags of litter in schools. It’s great at absorbing vomit and urine for accidents, plus with all the active shooter policies they have now it would help when kids have to shelter in place for hours.

That gay men have to wear diapers because they become “loose” and incontinent.

The kids today don’t realize how homophobic the 90s and 00s were.
