Nah, I really think it’s mostly laziness. So many people just lack a general curiosity about the world. I know people who think it’s weird that I’ll just look up random crap on Wikipedia just out of sheer curiosity. There’s so much quick and easy entertainment in our modern world what’s the point of exerting energy to learn fucking anything.
