“As officers approached the car, the wanted gang member weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run an officer over,” said Todd Lyons, the acting director of ICE, in a statement.
“Following their training, our officers fired defensive shots to protect themselves, their fellow agents, and the public,” Lyons said. “The illegal alien was taken to a local hospital.”
If they had actually been “following their training”, they wouldn’t have been standing anywhere near a potential impact zone. Using your own body to block a vehicle from fleeing the scene is not only fucking stupid, it’s literally the opposite of what officers are “trained” to do.

Wanted Gang Member = someone out running errands
Weaponized his vehicle = fled for his life
Run an officer over = ICE goon standing in front of the car with his gun out
Defensive shots = all officers emptied their entire mag and maybe a bullet or two hit
Until I see bystander video footage this is how I’m going to interpret this statement.
Footage and live updates here. He’s a law abiding father on his way to work. In the video, he initially drives in reverse (much like Renee) before the open passenger door gets him caught on the car behind him, then tries to drive away, getting shot in the arm at some point.

Yeah I saw this on another post and it plays out almost the same as Renee except this person was actually stopped and not just trying to get out of the way like she was.
If ICE wasn’t straight up murdering people or disappearing them to torture prisons then people wouldn’t feel the need to flee for their lives.
