That’s how I learned I was ace. After my first time I thought “what’s the big deal about it?” Thought about it for a few months, and realized that not all ace people are sex adverse or even try to avoid it.
I’m literally married, but I sometimes feel like my husband and I may both be on the ACE spectrum. He’s the only person I seriously dated in my life, and we’ve been together more than a decade. I never felt strongly attracted to anyone in that way until I got to know him.
Sex is great, but I’d say there are other facets of our relationship that we value even more.
I feel like sex is weirdly both over and underrated by society. There’s put far too much emphasis on sex as this be all end all super special thing, and at the same time it’s underrated about how nice it can be if you let it and remove any hangups about it (such as religious shame), and embrace it fully (as in, accepting and indulging in kinks, your sexuality, etc.).
For me it’s like, it’s not a special or super serious thing at all, but it’s great and can be a lot of fun, especially together with the emotional closeness. It’s like a hobby. So let yourself be a sex nerd!

I’ve done a lot of things in my life and sex still remains number 1 in terms of fun.
I believe sex addicts don’t really experience the fun part any more. For e.g. you’re so addicted you’re sleeping with horrible people you’re not attracted to, and may even be dangerous or contagious.
I haven’t tried hard drugs but nothing else even comes close
