The following is a message from a Los Angeles PSL comrade:
"We have received a recent uptick in hateful comments on our instagram reels from the Amazon strike videos and the previous videos around J20 and our fight back. We have just posted this reel featuring a friend of the party who is undocumented, and we are already seeing personal attacks and wrongful information being spread in the comments.
Please help flood the video with comradeship, optimism and pro-immigrant messages! (And if you feel so inclined to engage with the haters and educate them, that helps us too!)
I feel like it should be illegal for platforms as big as Instagram and Twitler to app-gate or registration-gate their stuff. I can barely see anything on this website.
Yeah I don’t have Instagram or any of the popular social medias so I can’t see much either. I don’t know why they’re complaining about brigading tho. It’s a divisive topic, they should expect that response and be happy for the traffic.
Having someone be put at threat of deportation isn’t something to celebrate, even if it means more clicks or whatever
