    Bork was the last time any of these things ever meant anything and republicans have been in a horns down fascist rage over it ever since. There’s literally nothing that could happen in any hearing that would make them withdraw a nomination for anything.

      Oh my god, the right-wing radio I listen to sometimes was talking about fucking Bork yesterday. I can’t imagine someone less deserving of 40 years of butthurt about getting snubbed.

    Tangential to the main point, but this sort of suggests Trump is planning to legalize cannabis at the Federal level. If they do that, they’ll probably cement Republican supremacy for at least a few election cycles. It’s really low-hanging fruit at this point that the Democrats are (as usual) totally negligent for having left on the table.
