Underwhelming, sure. I don’t think it’s the same thing as actively damaging the country on behalf of Russia.

The argument you are getting and setting here seems to be a domestic one primarily, but I think from a foreign policy perspective it becomes much clearer, especially given what this post is about.

US global hegemony after WWII rests on a several aspects, a few key ones of which are free trade with US dollar as the world reserve currency, a system of international alliances, and resulting from that the ability to have bases all over the world for immediate power projection anywhere.

Trump is practically giving all of that away for no discernable reason whatsoever. He basically just publicly announced to all of Americas allies that your word, like as a country, is worth nothing.

And how has any of that damaged us? Give me some real world examples, not theory. What has changed? How are we damaged?

My day isn’t any different. I’m doing and feeling awesome. What damage has Trump caused?

I think they are doing an awesome job. And so do the people who voted for him. Which so happens to be the majority of the voting public by the way. So seems a LOT of people disagree with you.

You can think they are, doesn’t make it true. A lot of people are regretting their vote, less than half of voters wanted trump. I’m happy that fascists, and their supporters disagree with me.

A lot of people are not regretting their vote.

If less than half of voters wanted trump, then how did you all lose the election?!

It has damaged your reputation as a country. It hasn’t damaged you domestically (yet), which is why I advised looking at it from a foreign policy perspective.

And make no mistake, just giving up on global hegemony will hurt you domestically as well in the long run. Not that I’m opposed to it, on the contrary actually, it just strikes me as utterly misguided since it’s done for selfish, and I think foolish, reasons.

I don’t care about that. You all can fix your own shit. If you don’t like how we do something, then you all fucking do it. Everyone shit on us anyway. lololol

I don’t think so. We were carrying too much of the load and you all just bitched at us constantly. Now you can take care of your own shit.

Again, if your country doesn’t like how we did something, then do it yourself.

You know what, if that is how you feel, fair enough actually. I just don’t think that’s how your former and current governments, including Trump, really feel about it.

                  I don’t think so.

You don’t think losing the US dollar as the world reserve currency would hurt you economically? Because that’s where this is going.

Exactly by what Trump and Musk are doing. Are you not keeping track of all the shit your heroes are doing? Damaging regulations, education, research, environment, consumer protection, security, immigration, freedom of press, etc. Social security and Medicare are next…

I want you to name one thing that US has benefitted from so far in this administration. A tangible benefit. I can tell you what has NOT been touched:

                  • “DAY 1 I WILL SULVE INFLAYSHUN”
                  • “DAY 1 I WILL STOP RUSHYA”
                  • “DAY 1 I WILL STAHP CHYYNAH”
                  • “DAY 1 WE WILL KUT TWOO TRILLYUNN FRUM BUDDGYET”

Trump is still looking for his healthcare plan from 10 years ago, and he’s already forgotten the “concept of a plan” he lied about during the debates. Is infrastructure week still on its way as well?

How has the US not benefited from his admin? He’s cutting govt and waste. That’s awesome stuff. I like him!

He’s doing exactly the things people voted him in to do. He’s making the majority of his voters happy.

What exactly is “good” about weakening the US on the international stage, being overtly corrupt, not helping unfortunate people, getting rid of meetings for flu vaccines. Deporting Americans, weakening the economy, allowing unelected people access to secret information, weakening cyber security. The list goes on.

I don’t think the US has been weakened at all. I don’t think they are corrupt. What “unfortunate people” are you talking about? I thinking getting rid of meetings for flu vaccines is a good thing–they were a waste of time. What “americans” have been deported? I don’t think the economy has been weakened. Unelected people access secret info all the time. Most agency workers are not “elected.” Cyber security hasn’t been weakened.

I don’t agree with anything you have said. You are just made that Trump won. lol
